Cosmelan is a lightening treatment designed to reduce hyperpigmentation caused by excess melanin deposits.

Cosmelan is suitable for sensitive skin. Cosmelan inhibits the production of melanin, allowing the body’s natural cell renewal system to eliminate the excess deposits.

Cosmelan lightens and evens out the skin tone and increases luminosity.

Treatments are performed in 2 stages, in the clinic and at home, providing an effective combination of professional treatment and easy-to-apply home maintenance.

Step 1: At The Doctor’s Office

  • Cleaning and gentle exfoliation of the skin in order to allow  penetration of oil removing solution.

  • A special Cosmelan face mask (COSMELAN 1) with a high concentration of lightening ingredients is applied and kept on the skin for 6 hours.

  • This Cosmelan treatment may cause noticeable peeling and/or redness in the first 2 to 5 days.

Step 2: Home Care Treatment

  • A depigmentation cream (COSMELAN 2) is applied at home for a couple of months along with an extremely moisturizing and nutritive cream that restores the hydrolipidic mantle and neutralizes free radicals (HYDRA VITAL FACTOR K).

  • Clients are recommended to use Cosmelan Cleanser, Toner and Sunblock daily according to the protocol which will be given.

  • Adverse Reactions to the Peels are rare but can include mild peeling, redness, and prolonged sensitivity to the sun.

  • You may have dryness and tightness for a couple of weeks after the treatment.

  • What's special about Cosmelan?

Cosmelan is specifically for lightening of pigmentation.

  • What can you expect?

Following initial treatment at doctor's office, you have to maintain homecare treatment for a couple of months, and will notice pigmentation will gradually lighten. The skin tone will appear brighter, smoother and tighter.

  • How many treatments are required?

Depending on pigmentation, clients will require a couple of treatments or more.

  • How long will results last?

If clients are careful with homecare, treatments can last for a couple of years.
