Dermal Fillers

In Relation To:

  • Face Contouring and Volumizing

  • Wrinkle Treatment

  • Face Lifting Enhancement

As we age, our face loses its youthful contour as the collagen in our skin decreases over time.

The skin loses its firmness and elasticity.

The dynamic lines caused by our daily facial expressions and repetitive facial movements become permanently etched on the face as fine lines and furrows, called “static wrinkles”.

All dynamic wrinkles eventually lead to static wrinkles that are visible even when our face is at rest. Dermal Fillers, injected into the skin, are a remarkable quick way to turn back the clock, taking years off your appearance by easing the wrinkles, grooves creases on the face, diminishing under eye hollows, replenishing volume and restoring plumpness to the lips and cheeks.

Dermal Fillers Treatment Procedure

  • The filler is injected into the skin and will take full effect in a few hours.

  • It does not affect your facial expression after the treatment.

  • For the first 2 weeks following your treatment, avoid exposure to excessive heat e.g. saunas and hot springs.

Potential Risks

  • Dermal Fillers are safe and seldom produce severe side effects.

  • The most common post treatment reaction is slight skin redness, swelling and rarely bruising, which if occurs subside within a couple of days.

How long does a filler last?

Dermal fillers are long lasting but not permanent. After the initial treatment, follow up sessions are normally recommended. Depending on the filler used, it can last anyway from one to three years.
