What Is Exilis: An Overview

Aesthetic Singapore: Exilis uses a combination of focussed radio frequency waves, thermal energy and ultrasound technology which help unravel the collagen fibers, causing fibroblasts to start producing more of the collagen protein. This has a skin tightening effect in the long term, thus helping to stimulate the skin collagen production as a result.

Exilis is also used for the purposes of fat reduction. By delivering the radio-frequency deeper into the tissues, the Exilis technology can “melt away” the fat. The actual process works by using energy to emulsify the fat. This fat is then sent to the liver by the body’s natural processes and is processed the same way as consumed fat. We use acoustic wave therapy to help with the lymphatic drainage of this fat.

Walk through of what happens during a treatment

The Exilis skin tightening and fat removal treatment was designed to be painless and comfortable, there are no needles or injections involved.

During treatment, as the Exilis device is guided over the area being treated, you will feel a deep heating sensation. This is a sign that the Exilis radio frequency energy is being delivered to the deeper layers of the skin. The underside of the applicator is designed to provide cooling to the skin’s surface, keeping you more comfortable during the treatment.
